Adriana Neal
Founder, General Manager
Adriana is an outdoor enthusiast, a Michigan Wolverine and a traveler who loves visiting friends and new places. No matter where she travels, she always returns home with a deeper appreciation for the beautiful Central California landscape. Adriana learned about environmental responsibility and organic living from her mom and about wine from her dad. She has always been interested in design and stewardship of space and resources. In 2007 she moved from the Bay Area to the Central Coast, where she received a Masters in City and Regional Planning at Cal Poly, with a focus on graphics and visual communication.
In 2011 she met Bastien through his wife, and an old family friend, Rebecca. They immediately felt a connection and recognized a mutual appreciation for the natural world and all of its wonders, including wine! The three decided to embark on the journey of a lifetime, and founded Seven Oxen Estate Wines together in 2012. Now a mother of two, Adriana primarily works on overall management of the business, directing an incredible team devoted to the company’s vision and success. During harvest, however, you can find her taking the early morning shifts in the cellar, doing punchdowns and analysis, and all of the other unglamorous but deeply satisfying “cellar rat” tasks.
