Renee arrived on the Central Coast 16 years ago, and thoroughly enjoys the weather, the people, and all there is to do here. By chance, she got into the wine industry in 2009 and ended up falling in love with it. She’s always learning and has a WSET Level 2 Certificate, working towards Level 3. In addition to being in the wine industry, she and her partner have embarked on a sustainable coffee roasting venture, spending their free time perfecting the art of creating aromatic, flavorful coffee beans. Like wine, coffee can be savored and appreciated for its nuances and depth of flavors.
Renee enjoys experimenting with different cuisines, pairing beverages with food, unwinding with her three chickens, and traveling to new destinations. Having traveled the majority of the United States as well as a few countries, exploring new places has always been in Renee’s blood. When asked what her favorite drink is her answer is “Whatever is in my glass at the time.” Because life is too short to only drink the same thing.
